Promotion commences at 00.01am GMT on 25/01/2017 and closes at 11.59pm GMT on 28/02/2017 (“Promotional Period”).
Entry is only open to UK residents aged 18 years or over who are members of the British Airways Executive Club (“Member”).
To receive an automatic entry, Members must, during the Promotional Period, make a valid purchase, of any amount, with any retailer, via the British Airways Avios eStore (“eStore”). For a list retailers, please see https://www.shopping.ba.com/az. Any purchases that are cancelled or returned during the Promotional Period will not be eligible for entry in this Promotion.
No purchase necessary. To enter, members must send an email with subject title: "British Airways ACHICA prize" with their contact details (i.e. full name, address and phone number) in the body of the email, to firstname.lastname@example.org. One entry per person.
Members will be automatically entered into the Promotion with each valid purchase made via the eStore. If the member does not wish to be automatically entered into this Promotion they must send an email with subject title: “British Airways Avios eStore ACHICA prize no participation” and with their contact details (i.e. full name, address and phone number) in the body of the email, to email@example.com
Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per valid purchase; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Members (including a Member’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Member who tampers with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
Members must retain the original or a photocopy of their eStore retailer purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the eStore retailer of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period.
The draw will take place at 3pm GMT on 23/03/2017. The winner will be notified by email within five (5) business days of the draw. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize will be fulfilled by ACHICA and will be sent to the winner’s address by email.
If for any reason a winner does not take/redeem a prize (or an element of the prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
If any prize (or any part of a prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize (or that part of the prize) to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
The winner will receive a £500 voucher code to spend at www.achica.com. The voucher code will be valid for 12 months from 24/03/2017 and must be used in one transaction. If you don’t spend the full £500, no refund will be given. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
Members consent to the Promoter using the Member's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any Member; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control), including but not limited to, systematic incidents that prevent a sale from being validated for entry during the Promotional Period e.g. Apple sales; (b) unintentional exclusion of a valid purchase for entry by the Promoter; (c) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (d) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (e) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or Member; or (g) taking and/or use of a prize.
